Hello Gents if allowed I would like to enter these into this build.

Both are bagged Kits, as in they have no boxes but are in plastic bags.
The First will be a Tamiya MK 1 which is complete unbuilt and Bagged the second is an Italeri kit that has just had a few parts painted.
I have had these in my stash for about 30 odd years now and if it wasn't for this build I would probably never have looked at them, there are a few more in the same box but let us start here.

MK IX Plans that I had to download, these we MIA.

So its double trouble and now I also realise why I do not build these 72 scale kits , they are way to small for my old eyes.

Well, guys thanks for looking and Mods if not appropriate please remove them.

Cheers G

Well, I'm looking forward watching and learning :)
I have a Spit somewhere in my stash as well (the one with the beerbarrels... alas not the limited edition containing the actual beer).

Nice to see you are picking up these oldies G.
Convinced you will do them justice.

Tof die vliegtuigen in die schaal en ga zeker volgen.

It's small, but who wouldn't want to see two Spitfires here? I still have the Revell Mk.V to build here.

Hello Guys

Here a quick little update, cockpits are put together and Painted
You will notice that the Italeri kit has absolutely no detail on the walks of the cockpit at all, luckily the cockpits are tint and you really can't see in there.
The Italeri plastic is also a lot thinner than the Tamiya Kit which has better detail.

Thanks for looking

Well, obviously the Tamiya version seem to have a lot more interior details, but once the halves are closed up I doubt you'll see any of that.

With spitfire's you always have my attention:)

Grtz.
