1/24 Fujimi Porsche 917 rebuild [wip]

Schaal 1/24 - 1/25
I love the colors used :wow:
Looks like it'll be a beauty when finished...

Likewise, paint job looks quite neat already.

Cars are not my cup of tea, but this is a really nice achievement !

Thanks for the kind comments chaps , really appreciated

Stunning paint job ! What brand of paint and clear coat did you use ?

Sincerely

Pascal

Tamiya yellow TS 16 ( rattle can)decantered and airbrushed , clear was Plascon Master Series automotive 2k, no issues, next time I will use automotive base cote. Decals are Studio 27 made by cartograph.

Very, very nice work! Looking forward to the rest of the build...

Alway`s nice to see a polished paintjob.

you could have placed a warning for sunshades ;-) , but nicely done...

Dat is nog eens een afwerking knap.

Weer nieuwe foto's binnengekregen, deze maal van de dryfit en de wielen.

Graeme had graag geweten wat jullie denken van de velgen.

I love it except the dark color I have never liked but nowadays you see them everywhere in the black color
now for a racing car it is possible
I also think it's a nice building

Hey guys thanks for the comments , and yes the actual Porsche that this build is based on had very dark rims, in fact all 917’s at the time raced with dark ( black) rims , personally I find that black is to stark on the models , so prefer using Nato black, or in this case tamiya gunmetal with Matt clear over it .

Next update will be soon I hope

Coming along nice.
Rims fit nicely :)

Could it be that the nr 2 has some "chipping" where body halves meet?

attachment.jpg

Hey Beyond .No there is not supposed to be chipping I think it is just as a result that the body halves are not all the way together, if I was to build a battered car I would have chipped it at that location.

Let’s see what this weekend brings.

Thanks again for the views and the comments chaps .
